How to Get the Most Out of This Course!

Hi there, it’s Adria.

Welcome to Performance Success at Performance Career Blueprint – let’s call it PCB for short. I am so excited to share all I have learned with you and to be a catalyst for your career transformation.

In this program you are in the minority of  brave souls on this planet who DIY – do it yourself.

The great advantage of that is you get to move at your own pace and take as long as you wish to complete your exercises in your workbook.

The danger of DIY (and I’m guilty of it as well) is that you can wait forever to take action. Don’t let yourself down. I want success for you. I can give you a million great ideas, but unless you take ACTION, nothing will happen.

Here are a few pointers to get the most out of PCB (no matter what program level you are in):

1.BEFORE you get started with PCB, get yourself a loose-leaf 2 to 3 inch binder. Get a good quality one that can lock the rings (in case you drop it) because this binder is going to stick around for a few years while you launch a solid career. If instead, you do everything on your computer, then create a file that is easily available (and back it up!) on your desktop. Create and a file inside one for each module. You will have access to these modules as long as you wish.

2.Set aside time each day, 2 or 3 times a week depending on how fast or slow your timeline is. That is your time to work on PCB. You have invested in yourself; now take the time to do the work. There is no substitute for that.

3.Before you begin each module print out the workbook that corresponds to it and get ready to pause the webinar as you fill out each exercise. Some of the modules require a lot of spontaneouswriting and thinking. Others require research, and still others require the action of something you may have begun and not finished or require you to begin a new task such as build your website. This is not fieldwork that’s going to be graded, this is your life we’re talking about – give it the attention it deserves!

4.Do the exercises with all your heart. There are no right or wrong answers. There is only what is right for you and your particular niche and your particular nature.

Break a leg!
